Your so lucky Ive been trying to get my hand on one. where from? Sadly it is very hard indeed to get hold of this species. They are becoming less common, even endangered in some parts due mainly to the invasion of A.fulica and the competition for food coupled with local peoples' efforts in wiping out the invasion. It is hard to breed them in captivity so babies are rarely available. There were a few sold a while back that had otherwise been due to be destroyed, but apart from that people are not wanting to deplete their numbers further by taking them from the wild. Keep your eyes open is all I can advise, it may take years to find one for sale but you never know.....
