Hi, I have some problems in determinating the following species. Unfortunately, the origin of the specimen is unknown, and that makes it even more difficult. As I know very little about the Achatinidae, I need your help. The shell is rather thin, has a hight of about 47 mm and might be juvenile. My first idea was Cochlitoma zebra (formerly Achatina z.), but the apex is kind of blunt, and that irritates me a little bit. Thanks for your help : wolf

I don't know what species it is, but it's quite stunning!

So you exclude Cochlitoma (= Achatina) zebra?
