HI i have a common snail and a grove snail but i want them to mate. 3 times they've acted weird but nothing happened. once i thought i saw eggs but then again i have no idea what eggs look like and it was just poop. so can different types breed?

Well even if they did mate they either wouldent lay eggs or the eggs would be in-fertile, the easiest way to find out if they are mating it that they would have a thick white tube looking thing attaching them together its them fertilising each other's egg cells

Snails in different genera may mate, but it is unlikely for eggs to be produced from that mating. And even if eggs are produced, they may not hatch (and even if they do hatch, the offspring will probably not be fertile).

The eggs may hatch but the offspring may not be fertile, such as a mule. If the offspring are not fertile they will not be able to reproduce themselves.
The odds of them even hatching are pretty slim, though.

Ah I misread it, thought you were asking if the eggs would hatch if not fertile dug!
