As the title says, this post will be about my recent cashew experiment.
12/10/13 EDIT: Oh no! Something went wrong with most of my images! I'll fix this soon or later!
FIXED... @__@ Fixing links is painful...
Day 1
Not so surprisingly, a lot these brown-lips are making a u-turn.
I believe this neohelix albolabris here left its spot on the wall to try out the new mash. Somebody must have been excited!
From this bird’s-eye-shot, I actually witnessed some (not that many though!) brown-lips trying the mash. Perhaps they might not end up receiving a poor rating by the end of this write-up.
A close-up of one of the groups.
Neohelix merrily enjoyingcashell cashew mash.
A brown-lipped snail enjoying the mash!
Day 2
Hmmm. They may not be around the "table" here, but the mess does say a lot.
Two snails on a wall.
Nobody escapes under my watch!
Flamed tigersnails doing nothing.
Snails around the rocks.
Snails under the rock. I took this photo upside down, so the view may look odd.
The other side...
Neohelix wants to say hi!
There's always an escape artist during photo shoots!
Up on the rooftop!
A close-up of two tigersnails and one of the brown-lips.
Shining in the lights!
And that concludes the cashew experiment. Like with other seed mashes, my first impression was that things would go the way they typically did with other seeds/nuts and they did somewhat, though more brown-lips than I thought ended up trying it which was a little surprising, but good nonetheless! I’ll likely try a hemp seed experiment in a week or two from now and see how it goes.
Cashew experiment ratings
Flamed tigersnails: Good
Neohelix albolabris: Excellent
Brown lipped snails: Fair-Good
