So is this what baby Helix aspersa look like? Awww! They look to be slightly bigger then Neohelix babies... It's been so long since I last cared for newborn snails, I hope my Cepaea bare fruit soon.

The babies hatched fifteen days ago! I ended up finding a scraggler ten days ago who's a little smaller than the others. Today I found what appears to be one last baby, VERY VERY tiny! Hey, Tinytinybaby! How's being tiny treating you? :-) You can see how much smaller she is than the other babies! How did I find tinytinybaby? Well, I first found her when I was sifting through the dirt checking for more eggs. I saw a very tiny shell, which I assumed was a baby that had never made it. I left it there, a little sad, but 12 hours later I saw her on the side of the cage! I managed to get her onto some food: Sorry, super tiny baby! It was hard to get you onto the cuttle right-side up! But she managed to right herself :-) The other babies are snailin' right along〜♪ It's the great baby escape! The snail peeking over the edge was so adorable, I couldn't help but include a second picture :-) Wallbaby〜♪ Baby pile alert! The babies are so adorable. I love the way their shells have little brown fleck patterns! They seem to mostly be filling in on one side, the side where the apex is: Look at how good their shells are getting! Baby party! Little corner baby〜♪ Good snailies!!

One month after the babies hatched, they've gotten big and have proper shells! :-) The littlest baby still looks like a hatchling, though. I named her Dot! I wonder if she'll ever become a full size snail? I know she eats, and sometimes she seems fairly active, but she stays little. I hope she'll be okay!

They look great, as for the smallest one sh looks perfect just a bit younger than the others, Soon she'll grow and have her proper shell as well and you wont notice so much of a difference.
