Nice snail pic's. I also repair damaged shell's of snails my rug rats find in there wanderings. They always bring them home from school.

Thank you It's very nice to hear that someone try to help them and repair their shell, Zorst. Here's a little bit freaky baby C.nemoralis. One of he's tentacles is very small, he's also much smaller than his siblings. His name is Cyclop

AHHH he's cute, We have one C.nemoralis here that has 3 eyes, 2 normal ones and one smaller one in the center of his head. I'll try and take a photo to post but he's still pretty small.

Is your cepaea CB or did you just find it? I had some scalariform babies but unfortunatly, all them died. I was keeping Cyclop isolated from other snails, when he was very small, and care much for him.

He's first generation captive bred, his parents were wild caught when the storms hit the coast line here and I found some Cepaea in some sand dunes that were being washed away by the storms. I Bought them home n kept them in a couple of separate tanks to the other Cepaea that I have. He came from the first clutch of eggs that they laid. He's currently in a nursery tank with some of the other young snails and is doing well.

The Oxychilus sp. are quite beautiful! Is their shell naturally that shiny and opaque?

Their shells are shiny and quite transparent (you can see snail's heart, it's amazing). I found no difference between WC and CB snails' shells .

Lucky you! It's hard to get any Helix species here . Aspersas are not native for my country, and breeding pomatias is illegal.
