Hi All, I wanted to give an update of how the snail I found just under 2 months ago is doing. So I will do this in pictures with a before and after... This was the day I found him after being left in a salt ring And this is him now... I think he's doing pretty well

He's so freaking big! You've done a great job with him! How horrible that someone would leave him surrounded by salt like that. At least he got rescued and taken into a loving home.

Ahy he sure is one large snail and I totally agree it was real nasty for someone to do that with the salt. He sure seems one happy snail with you though which is great.

What a handsome, big snail! I remember you writing he didn't want to come out of his shell at first, and I see that's definitely changed. Good job!

Looks like he's doing very well Pretty sure (from the size and look of him) that he's originally wild-caught. He looks exactly like my wild-caught margies that I rescued from Brixton market. I saw that you're in Luton and apparently there's a Luton market with west African stores. I suspect that someone probably bought him from one of those stores as a curiosity then ended up irresponsibly leaving the poor thing in the park. Thank goodness you found him and adopted him

Great to see that he has a new friend, similar to our 2 tiger snails the adult one is huge compared to his new future mate but its real cute to see them sleeping together in the tank they share with the Alboptica.
Talk about little n large. Zorst
