Hi! I have a few questions about Achatina iredalei... Does anyone here know: What conditions do they need? Are they hard to breed? How many snails do they give birth to per clutch? How many clutches per year? Seeing that they have live young is there any form of humane population control? Thanks in advance!

I have 2 Iredalei that I got back in may, they haven't attempted to breed yet so can't really answer that area of questions , they still seem to be growing. Any how there great n friendly snails and I find them easy to keep there currently sharing a tank with 2 tiger snails and 2 albino Alboptica as well as a few baby GALS for the winter, its a glass tank so I can keep better control on it temp n humidity wise. Every one is very active and seem to be thriving in this tank. Currently there busy eating some sweet potato and corn on the cob.
I'll let you know as I find out more about them myself regarding the breeding and young.
