My snails love cork bark! Hide in it all day. Not the prettiest thing to look at, but I think snails would appreciate more natural decorations.

Sometimes you can find cheap plastic aquarium plants in dollar stores and places like that (in the UK at least) Dollar stores in the UK MC? have we suddenly started using american money here and I missed it? or are they shops you can use your left over foregn currency at? or has the south just been taken over? But yes you can find cheap plastic plants in many of the cheaper style shops (i.e. don't expect cheap ones in pets at home), also try online local free ads etc. As others have said plastic plant pots are great they love those. You could try growwing lettuces, cress or dandelions in the tank as a live in buffet Since your snails are native you could use bark or bits of wood from outside (bake them first just to make sure there's no nasties on them) Also moss and lichens from outside

I'm just trying to not confuse our overseas friends with my wacky British lingo To be honest most in Cornwall would probably be happy if we had our own separate currency to absolutely everyone else! XD Next time muddy, just for you, I'll simply reply with "GIT THEE DOWN WILKOS ME DUCK!"

Cornwall wants their own seperate everything i'm sure it's only a matter of time before they try to widen & extend the river tamar Good i'll hold you to that. i was very pleased to see a confused hollywood recently over the ay up me duck comment. I don't get enough derbyshire lingo since moving further north. although we do get a mixture of things here due to the uni. i was once called pet, duck, hen and chick in one sentance it was marvelous. I also once did a dance in the tescos here because they had labelled a cob correctly as a cob despite being a long way from derby. I got some funny looks i'm not sure if it was the dance or the comment "fianlly they're leaning to talk properly, Derbyshire shall take over the rest of England"
