cliath: a cob where i originate from is either a horse or a bread roll. so building with cob did make me giggle, i had a wonderful image of a horse helping you build things out of bread. Etana: YAY board games! any favourites? Zorst: horse back archery sounds like amazing fun! Missjuniper: that sounds great, what do you sew for your animals? I have quite a lot of hobbies but the downside of this is that some of them can only be done occasionally. My main hobbies include (but not limited to): Snail keeping (SURPRISE! ) learning about animals and keeping some of these Dog training, obedience and agility Plants (growing and researching - indoors mainly cacti and other succulents, other alpine plants, Bromeliaceae, african violets, carnivorous plants, anything odd looking) Gardening (food and just decorative) Board games and related (between my boyfriend and I we have a serious number of games my favourite are cooperative games. my favourites at the moment include Descent, Mice and mystics and Eldritch horror but this list is actually quite long). Painting minis - i've recently tried painting miniatures from my games (namely cockroaches and centipedes and rats from mice and mystics) Drawing walking Scottish country dancing (no i'm sadly not scottish - yes this confuses a lot of people) Horse riding (especially anything that goes fast and LOVES jumping, but also enjoy drill riding) Rock pooling (when i get chance and can get out there) photography - mainly nature subjects Reading - this depends a lot on my mood mainly scifi/fantasy and am a big fan of anne mccaffrey

Horse back archery is great fun n one hell of a skill. It was a necessity of survival for my ancestors be it for hunting or for war so a skill many of us keep alive even if its only for fun.

Muddydragon, some of my favourite board games are Battlestar Galactica, Eclipse, Modern Art, and lately I've been slowly getting into Warhammer. Quite a few people have said battlestar glactica is a great game one of my friends has it we keep meaning to play but other games take priority, i'm just put off it slightly as it uses photos from the new series which i'm nt terribly keen on (if i ended up with a copy i'm sure i'ld end up replacing all the images with original series ones ) My boyfriend is a huge warhammer fan he's been trying to get me to play for the past 8 an a bit years (no sucess) but we have compromised with wahammer quest (also i get to steal his paint for my minis from other games )

Muddydragon: haha cob is a prehistoric building material, similar to wattle and daub (I like that too). I also like riding horses but prefer flat work over jumping. I also love horse racing and am hoping to become a jockey

lol Sparrow,I know the getting old part for sure but still enjoy what I can.
I was a Jockey for a while over fences Cliath, n the father of my Rug rats (my x but were real good friends) was a National Hunt Jockey for a number of years. So I worked in horse racing for quite some time, but specialized in Equine reproduction and stud management. A bit less dangerous but not quite as much fun though its also had some great challenges, like getting a live born foal and seeing it stand and drink its first milk.
