i was looking through the red clutch in my leopard slug tank and holy crap, one of them has a single eyestalk sticking out of their forehead more pics
i am amazed right now it's nearly 11pm and i picked them up out of the coconut and realized oh my god it has one eye. it's clearly viable and functioning just as well as the other slugs, and there'll definitely be HD pics when i get the chance to take them all out for a photoshoot

Gorgeous! wonderfully alien looking. decided on a name? Not yet, that'll be up to vote when they mature. Right now they're just the tiny cyclops of the group.

Crazy cool! I've been hoping to get cyclops/forked eye snail babies, but so far there are none. Looking forward to the HD pics!

Cool a unicorn slug, I have a snail with 2 n 1/2 eye stalks he has a small bump in the middle of 2 normal ones. I say small its about half the size of the other eye stalks. When i finally get my proper laptop up n working I'll have to get a photo of him.

So cool. Can snails breed like that too? Yes, some snails are born with very odd eye deformities. It's not common, but it happens.

Previous week, i had a cyclope fulica baby! I called him (surprising) cycloop! He was pretty active and curious but after the movement some fulica babies didn't surveive and i haven't see cycloop anymore so i think he's dead. The cycloop slug is looking very special as well. The cyclope reminds me of the cartoon characters: the 'snorkels' i watched on television when i was young.

Is this just a random genetic mutation or is there some sort of thing behind it?
