I currently have a group of 4 helix lucorum and want them to breed, I've had them a few month they are between 3 and 4cm big. I've tried lowering temperature as well as increasing it. Any help would be appreciated.
Also have 2 helix cincta that I would like to breed also of a similar size to the h.lucorum x

Hopefully someone else will also chime in as I've heard various things regarding Helix breeding.
One thing I have read that the helix "breeding season" is from May to August, so perhaps they will breed in a few more months. How cold and warm were you keeping the terrarium? And for how long?

They don't receive any additional heating at the moment and I keep them very similar to that of my helix pomatia who are happily mating x

My one's ( I have both types ) have started mating this weekend so fingers crossed I'll have some eggs soon. They are sharing a tank and though the tanks not heated its between 2 heated tanks, that slight bit of temp difference has woken them up and they are now very active.

I've moved them near a heat source so will see if that makes a difference x
