I have 5 of these snails, all nearly identical, exact same markings, all relatively the same size, if not then only 1 or 2 mm smaller/bigger. The were found in my neighbors flowerbed at night, and we live in Hawaii, 2 houses down from a boat dock on a marina (half fresh half salt water lake). I can't find any snails online that look like these. I wondered if they're juveniles of GALS, which I got from the other side of the same house, but the markings are so specific and different from the GALS. Also some of the GALS are as small as these mystery snails so I'm assuming those are the GALS juveniles, and they have the same markings as the bigger ones, unlike these. I'm not sure if these snails are carnivorous or if they were just bullying, but I once had them together with my tiny snails (graceful awlsnails and tiny garden snails), and a couple looked like they were stalking the tiny snails, and one of them began to pick up a shell by its mouth and pull (the snail was hanging on for dear life), as if it was trying to rip the shell off of its body... I stopped it, so I don't know if it was predatorial or not. Also, they bury themselves in dirt or under moss or huddled together under the ceiling of my alligator skull decoration every time they go to sleep. Sometimes they are aesrivated but wake up when I start spraying water in the tank. That's all the details I have on these guys. Any ideas?

Look like they could be baby GALS to me but others may think differently. What breed I couldn't say though so I'd assume the most common in your area until they have grown and you can see better what they are like. Personally I'd keep them in a seperate tank to your other snails especially as you dont yet know what they are for sure.

When my fulica had babies they looked exactly like that. The baby spots will disappear as they grow. Give them some egg (cooked/microwaved etc), they may be wanting some protein and thus bullying the other snails. I love the little snail face in the last pic, btw

Lovely looking snails! You say you're from Hawaii, so they're very likely baby achatina fulicas.
