Hi, I have a yound albopicta and would like some snailie company for him that wont result in me having to check for eggs everyday. Is there another snail species that would be happy living with him?

you only have to check for eggs once a week there's some suggestion snails can self fertilise (i've never kept 1 member of a species without another member so i can't say for myself). so you may need to check anyway. Don't get any member of the Achatina or Lissachatina genus as they can hybridise with Lisschatina albopicta (previously known as Achatina albopicta) and don't buy an adult as they may have already mated and be storing sperm and lay eggs at a later date. I don't keep albopicta what sort of conditions does he have? (means i can better judge if species i know could live with him).

Well that would be too cold for any Archachatina marginata subspecies. maybe a smaller species like limicolaria but i doubt they'ld interact much. Maybe someone else has some suggestions
