The bigger one is an ecotype found in a mediterranean humid area in coastal (faced to the West) North Estremadura (Portugal). The smaller one is an ecotype found in a mediterranean dry area in coastal (faced to the South) South Estremadura (Portugal). I hope to post more pictures, whenever it´s possible for me.

I guess the wetter, warmer weather (along with good genetics of course) encourages better growth?

Gorgeous snails! Perhaps the warmer weather encourages larger snail growth.
