2019 is here and may it be a good one! π Should interesting to see where the forum goes this year. Not that I expect it to go anywhere particularly, but will it stay the same? Die down significantly? Or will it become a place teeming with life? Nobody knows at this point, but time will tell. I honestly think it's alright the way it is. I believe that it becoming a populous place too quickly, will bring in a host of toothaches! Or am I wrong? Whatever, let's just keep loving snails! π

2019 is the Chinese calendar "year of the pig", but for me, it's always year of the snail!

I know I'm hoping to have more time for snail related projects this year! Maybe a couple of new enclosures are in order as well...

2019 is the Chinese calendar "year of the pig", but for me, it's always year of the snail! LOL! Would certainly take snails over pigs any day! I know I'm hoping to have more time for snail related projects this year! Maybe a couple of new enclosures are in order as well... With it being winter and the snail season not starting till April-May, working on enclosures seems like a good idea. I have a 2019 snail photos wall calendar (Mindful Snails) by the Snail Wrangler. Calendars are available on Etsy.com Snail calendars sound neat. And now finally, let us not forget what was missing from the beginning of this post:

Happy new year all! It's definitely the year of the snail for me. I will be releasing a paperback and Kindle book at the end of this month on the Garden Snail. Fingers crossed it encourages more snailers (Kindle image)
