Hi i have a snail with a bad shell barke that ive rescued 4 days ago. The weired part is that when ive found him he already had a part of new shell growth cvering the part over his heart, but now its seems that this part has became soft again. a day after ive found him he regrew another part and this part as well seemed to dissolve. He ate yesterday for the first time since i got him and he has been consumng calcium.
Do you idea what is this? Can it be due to over humidity? or dirty enviroment?
I have another rescued snail that the same thing happened to him, he has a mild brake near the lip of the sehll so it isnt worrying me much, and its not happening with him anymore , now he is managing to regrow the shell properly.
