m.imgur.com/a/Kz7cNIALeroy is a cepaea nemoralis snail who has appeared elderly since I've met him (October 2017). Has always had the three areas of shell damage with the hole on top, but the discoloration has been getting worse over time. I estimate his age to be around five. Wondering what I can do for him. More calcium? Best way to get him to eat calcium? He has always been a bit slower than the other snails but he still gets up when sprayed or taken outside. No unusual behavior but sometimes rasps shell.

This is a normal process for snails when they get old. The protein-rich periostracum layer gets worn away exposing the calcium carbonate underneath. There is nothing you can do other than maybe oiling the shell to protect it a bit.

Just an update: he's still alive 21 months later. Don't lose hope!
