Hello fellow snail lovers! I'm from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. My first pet was a snail. When I was four or five years old, I was out for a nature walk. On the path, I saw a beautiful shell and picked it up. A little head popped out, and I said "Marjorie!" as if recognizing an old friend. I don't remember this, but this is how my mum remembers it. I had Marjorie for about two years. Decades later, I still have her shell. Today, I have two snails under my roof: Beauregarde, who I've had for about a year and a half, and Rosemary, who arrived yesterday. I also have two cats and a cockatiel. I would love some help in identifying Beauregarde and Rosemary, but it seems I don't have permission to create a thread on the identification board. Can anyone help me with this? Looking forward to getting into some good snail discussions.

Hello! Welcome to the forum!☺ About your question, only moderators can post on the reference section (I think), but you can get an identification by asking on the pictures section under "snail (general)". You have a cockatiel? That's so cool, I had to choose between one of those and a budgie and I regret my decision 😓.

That's great, thank you!
Yes, cockatiels are great! I've had budgies too, and they're so sweet as well.
