So i have a glass box for my snails and i have a bit of a problem, the box opens from the top with a sliding ceiling thats from mesh, in the habitat i have a few things one of them is a ceramic pool for water. And one of my snails has decided to take a nap on the sliding ceiling right above the ceramic bowl so if i open the top i risk him falling he is half on the glass half on the mesh there is a small door though near the top which can be opened maybe it would be possible to put maybe some foam below the snail so when he falls he will be fine and i can open the top

You could just wait a while to open it so he moves (if he’s just napping, which they often do on the tank walls).
