Goodmorning, my mother found in the supermarket a can of proteic food for reptiles, brand "vitakraft" - "reptile gammare menu" , and bought it as a present for my snails... On the ingredients list it only says is made out of shrimps and crustacean, 60% made of a little shrimp of Gammarus genus. Now i know that gammarus food can be used for GALS and I'm often struggling to variate their protein source a bit, but my doubt is can I feed it to my Cornu aspersum since is totally made of shrimps? Does anyone use it already on aspersum or similar guys? can be dangerous? thanks

I think it would be alright to feed to your aspersa. I feed mine omega one betta buffet pellets, which are also made entirely of seafood. It includes shrimp. They haven't had any health problems since I switched from dog food to fish food, so I think feeding them what you are should be fine! Just make sure you give it to them weekly, not daily. I looked up the food you mentioned, but the ingredients I found are in German.. other websites list no ingredients. www.amazon.com/Omega-Betta-Buffet-Pellets-Food/dp/B01DFT93TG^ Linked so you can see the ingredients. They're shown in the third picture.

Shrimp is actually a great source of protein for snails! Many quality aquatic snail foods use krill, mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, fish meal, or something for the protein source. Land snails do great with the same stuff.
