Hello! So, I had to stay at a hospital for about a week due to health problems and my sister was taking care of my snail. When I came back today, my snail looked like this:  What is this stuff? Is my snail okay?  |

Hard to see clearly but looks like some poop under the foot? Try gently clearing it off with a damp cotton bud or wet tissue. |

I've seen a few posts where people worried about their snail having been injured, but it turned out to be poop. So I wanted to give you a heads up! Don't worry if you see a red or black spot on your snail that looks similar to blood, it usually isn't! From what I can tell their inside flesh is the same color as the outside. They don't bleed red like most animals.
