Do you want me to sit in the corner and rust, or just fall apart where I'm standing?

Unless anyone else is interested? Gail Prairie Dogs are not difficult to care for, they will eat dry cat food, dry rabbit, chinchilla, guinea pig and hamster foods, I give mine all these, so that they have a mixed diet, along with plenty of hay, they enjoy treats, like carrots....They do need a very big, secure cage though, at the moment mine are in an avairy out the garden, I had kept them in a very large indoor cage the last few years, but they seem a lot happier outdoors, and were happy indoors to begin with, the aviary was built so it extends underground, so that they can dig tunnels upto 2ft deep before reaching the base of the aviary, it is escape-proof, they will climb up the avairy though so its important the aviary isnt very tall, or that barriers across the inside of the housing stop them doing this I havent decided whether to leave them outdoors permanently, It can be accomplished, the aviary is covered 3 sides and has sheetings of wood in the inside to stop them climbing...I may bring them back indoors in the winter if its particulary cold out

No I got them about 4 years or so ago...long before I used the internet ;D In cage and aviary birds newspaper, from a breeder based in Blackpool, I had to have them same-day couried down here, they were quite expensive, but Hedgehogs have dropped in price now
