I remember Paul mention that fulica rodatzi are just an albino shelled fulica hamillei, I have 2 fulica rodatzi from Sarah, which dont have the yellow shell rodatzi usually have, would this mean they're normal-shell colour fulica hamillei? they look a bit different to my other fulica, I know fulica can be variable, but what are the differences between the variants? These are the parent snails (Melly's picture) Ive found pictures of snails listed as fulica hamillei, here it.groups.yahoo.com/group/achatina_gasteropodi/Click Foto's, and its emanuele's photo album

probably the ones from melly are a rodatzi-fulica cross.
i think its unlikely the non-albino gene wud just re-appear. rodatzis have probably been bred for a few generations.
