it's not peat, it's soil but it's a natural soil with nothing added i.e fertaliser etc.

Organic Peat free multipurpose soil, thats all i have.
What do you propose i use, people who use soil and don't have mites, what do you use???

I used to use coir, and to be honest if I ever wanted to breed my snails I would go back to using it 'cause I just think that they would probably lay their eggs in this more readily. But at the moment I just use capillary matting with a large handful of sphagnum moss at one end!!
