Once more unto the breach, my friends... I definitively have too much time, so I wrote another page today, that was waiting for some years... Here is one on Otala snails, also known in English as milk snails, as far as I know. > Otala snails. Enjoy the read, and I am quite glad for feedback, as always, especially, as some people here come from the area those species are native. Kind regards Robert

Ah, one of my favorite snails! A very nice article, and I learned something new -- the columellar tooth to help distinguish between lactea and punctata. I'm going to take a close look at my lacteas this evening. Maybe they're not lacteas! ;D

I'm happy to say all mine are indeed lacteas. ;D I can't imagine you writing rubbish, Robert -- you always provide very good information.

In the meantime I found out I also have some shell pictures of Otala punctata, so I am going to extend the page this afternoon. Kind regards Robert Supplement: OK, I did it, so there are two new pictures on the page, of what I think to be Otala punctata. If the picture quality is not good: I had to process them with Paint, as I am not home and have no Photoshop here. I will prepare better pictures at home, but that'll be only in ten days from now.
