I saw the listing myself, there is no way they were zebra or varicosa. If you do manage to get hold of real zebra snails, these are incredibly difficult to care for. They are used to hot temperatures during the day and cold temperatures of around 6c - 8c by night. As you can imagine, it's very very tricky to provide such a variation in temperature, and keep them cool enough overnight. They are also very picky about what they like to eat and it can be very hard to keep them fed.

i got the so called zebras off ebay but people are saying they are ovum i no they are margies take a look at the pics. the person selling them, gave them to me when i brought 2 adult jades from her but they now turn out to be albino retics. she did tell me that she brought them as zebras from a show in doncaster, but since having a narsty e-mail off someone telling her that they werent zebras she removed them and has now said that she has know idea what they are that is why i am trying to now find out what they are.

The "tail"is the one of Archachatina genus (or Achatina achatina), so I think A. zebra (in genus Achatina) could be ruled out. They could still be margies... although usually they are much dark-skinned, and the shell is more rounded... Beautiful snails anyhow
