So I was looking at the eggs that Dr.Rockzo laid (through the bottom of the container) and well, some look yellow-ish as opposed to the translucent white that they were before, a reduction in the size(slightly smaller than what they were before) and, i'm also seeing white dots?? Not entirely sure what the white dots are. There's atleast 4 eggs that look like this. Are they hatching or are they rotting? Atleast two of these are on the bottom of the container below the rest of the clutch, and two are some of the ones that got seperated and are around the top. Any input is greatly appreciated. I've read in other threads people recommending breaking open eggs to see whats inside, so I might try to do that and pray I'm not squishing one of the little darlings edit: oh the eggs are otala lactea eggs if that helps, I found them about a week ago and its possible that its been two weeks since they were laid based on my snails behavior but I'm really not too sure when they were laid

So I could have answered my own question if I'd broken one open before posting. They're either hatchign or will be soon. I feel so terrible, I broke open one of the funny looking ones and well, there was definately a baby snail in there developing. I could even see where his shell was starting to form as it was brittle but didnt squish like the rest of the egg. Atleast I know now and will start putting food in that container as well ...I don't know how I went from one snail, to no snails, to 3 snails, and now I have in addition to those guys hatching eggs and a baby snail I took in that was rescued off a plant at my old job. XD I know they're different species but once the hatchlings are old enough do you think I could add Melvin (the juvenile snail rescued) to them so he had some friends?

Thats ok, wasnt really interested in knowing about that. I ended up not putting Melvin in with the hatchlings and I'm glad I didn't because a number of them dwarf him now! lol Though the two runts are still smaller than him oddly enough.
