Okay, so I've started painting. It's mostly humans now, canines and other mammals got really boring.

Morgoth has lost one of his feet but doesn't seem to be bothered by it. It's a real mystery where the foot has gone and why it's fallen off in the first place.

Ukko There's a slimy little problem with holding these though.

I change it when it gets smelly or if I get mold or mites, which is really unusual. Gnats used to be a problem but not anymore. Just pick up their poop and any leftover food and you should be golden.

I don't think it will kill them since it was only a little extra calcium. Just remember to not do that in future.

Don't add extra calcium in their food unless they're sick or have a damaged shell and for some reason can't get enough calcium to repair it themselves. They can get too much of that stuff in their system and that's never good. I'd say just put some powder somewhere else in the tank, since most of the smaller snails won't eat the cuttlefish bone. They like the powdered or more pasty calcium a lot more. It'll make a mess but don't worry about that.

Now here's Fred, his patterns are amazing and I love him to bits. He's a tad bit smaller than the other slugs are but I think it's because he might be a bit younger. Here you can clearly see his patterns. And here he is on my arm.

I, too, have had success with eggs, both in and out of the adult snails' terrarium. Mostly with normal fulicas and jades.

I've never seen striped ones. I have a few of these and all of them are just the spotted type.

Here's some of my Cepaea. These two were doing the dirty for a while. Their dancing was really interesting to watch.
