Strange, they are in public Picassa gallery with no limited view :00 Put here direct links to photos so all should be able to see it... Does anyone else have same problem?

Hmmm.... I need to pass a bit for now.For next two months I have too much over my head and no free cash. I hope someone near by can take care of them so they won't be stressed by long travel. They are not young but if they just awake for that short time it a bit worries me

I guess it's cause of their age. Lissachatina lives less then Achatina or Arachatina... in age like this they just will be mostly sleeping. Are you sure you want to re-home them? I am from Poland so it's kinds far away xD

I posted photo and info on one of snail groups I am in and it seems like they have same point of view as me - it looks like allergic reaction or something what caused body fluids getter in that tissue >;00 maybe something what already was in but before it never caused so much distress to their immune system and now it really reacts?

Oh my... I never seem something like this and don't really know what to think about... I will ask my friends around, I am also worried, they are not eating - it always means something really wrong... I keep my finger crossed and I run to ask people about it >;00

Nice. I've been thinking about it but I feel too old and too male to use it. What a wrong paint of view of yourself, you are never too old - if you will feel old you will become one Anyway there can be instagram not of yourself but of your pets <3

I am sorry for your loss but also glad there can be some kids incoming.
...This yellowish stuff was mostly fluid that often appears when snail is sick or weaken and most likely will be gone but dunno what caused that unlucky chain :<

I'm in Krakow, and noticed the population is not as prevalent as it was 10 years ago. I'm surprised my H. pomatia site in the US has a more concentrated population than anything I have seen in the woods in Poland(at the USA site you can collect about 100 in a few minutes), but then again that site is the only H. pomatia site I've seen in the entire USA. There is not too much them now Makes me sad a lot. I was near Warsaw not long time ago and I found on thirsty one (in bad area, just dust, roads and farming places with less shadow or water) so I took him for some rehab - he spend 2 days in wet moss with some walking into small plate of water where he like to sit for 1-3h. On same walk I saw man who threw out from his garden one poor guy - he fly up 2 metr and far 3 metr and hard hit street. I rushed to him but his shell was badly broken, hoped it may be reconstructed but some part sadly priced his inertial organs I went to this guy trying to stay calm and made long lecture about H. pomatia, that he is under protection, that he could just collect them and release in field near by - not even 2 minutes away. This man had truly no idea he just caused pain, slow death, broke law - he though that snail will just stand up and go away... or change shell... In good will he give me second one snail i requested from him when I saw it already in this man hand ready to throw.... Now I have two H. pomatia under protection, breaking a bit law, but I want then to get some strength before I release them in better area for them. They eat nice, spending a lot of time in moss in water plate and on calcium. Wish to keep them 'cause they are sweet but well :/

I know, I feel bad when i fav one snail over second, love them all but one I am almost married with xD Chrupek. He is so big and lovely and likes a company <3 But still I love all my kids <3

I have some snail living usually in garden here in Poland: Amber snails ( Succinea putris) - Mist and Star Copse snails ( Arianta arbustorum) - Starting from left: Muffin, Caramel, Brownie and Mocca Also took home 3x White liped snails ( Cepaea hortensis) what we use to call a "garden snail" and 1x grove snail ( Cepaea nemoralis) I also have garden snail called Helix Aspersa ( Cornu aspersum) but is not a garden snail of Polish land From left: Albi, Pasio and Fuks And for an add - under my care and as fast they will fully recover two roman snails ( Helix pomatia) - Alex and Max Love wild-lings <3 They are fun for observation, pretty active and easy to take care off I have some problems with one of my H. Aspersa - he do not grow so nice and fast but it may be caused be that he came to me a bit late from Uni club where snails are not having apartments and kings dinners as my pet-snails xD And also he is leucistic and they have some predisposition to slower grow

I'm curious to know what the L. in their names mean. As Cashell said L. for Lissachatina
