Hi there. I've noticed that the shells of my achatina fulica occasionally develop a cloudy yellow tinge over the normal brown colour. It appears and disappears quite quickly. Does anybody know what it indicates?

It's new thickened growth. First new shell growth is thin transparent looking. Then shell growth it start to change color to yellow. When growth is thicker after that it start to change color to brown like older part of shell.  |
