Hi,
I have three juvenile (7 month old) Achatina Albopictas - how big does everyone think they should be at this point?
How big will they realistically grow?
Finally, is their any snail 'superfood' that, only naturally and healthily, will grow my snails as big as they can be?
All answers would be appreciated - thank you!

I would definitely advise against keeping pet snails in that way, I'm afraid :/ Just my opinion but hopefully a few more will chime in and give more views. I'd say make sure your snails get some protein every now and then. Boiled egg goes down very well with my albopictas. Of course give the snails a very varied diet. For me, my snail's superfood would probably be a mix of ground hempseed, spirulina and calcium powder mixed with a little water.  Hope they are doing well! Albopictas are some of my favourite snails. |

Hi! I'm trying to create a good diet for my snails as well and i think your, Shaydeesnail, sounds pretty good as a base. What I'm wondering about is; what is ground hempseeds? Should the seeds be sprouts when given to the snails or can I give it to them as it is? |
