I haven't looked at all your posts, but it can happen due to which section you post in. Posts in Pictures, Species Pictures for Website, Competitions, Memorial Section, Classifieds, Introduce Yourself, Other Pets, Forum Chatroom and IRC Chat Room are not included in post counts. So someone who posts a lot in Pictures, for example, will not see their post count go up very much.

All right, I see! Thanks for telling me That's strange though, since posting pictures is still posting something, and the pictures section is one of my favourite ones

I know, I like looking at the pics too. I think the board was set up that way to encourage people to make substantive posts that contribute to the knowledge base.
But, to be honest, I never look at someone's post count. There are some people who post very little but what they do post is very interesting and/or is valuable information, so there's another side of that coin as well.
I belong to a couple of other boards that don't show anyone's post count, so everyone is on the same level, and the members there seem to like it.

Some offtopic posts can be deleted or short messages containing only one or two words. If post don't keep conversation up or give anything to new to topic it can be also deleted that helps keep forum little bit cleaner.
