Hi, sorry , but I´m thinkin´ about the question whether "Subulina oct ona" is right or "Subulina oct ana". In all my books and papers it´s "octona", but I never made it sure reading the original description of Bruguière (1792, obviously). In the www I read "octana", mostly. What is the correct way to spell it? Kind regards: wolf

I think octana was a spelling mistake spread by the internet, from all sites with info on the species only, and not offering the snails for sale its octona, including wikipedia, and scientific papers mollusca.sav.sk/pdf/5/5.Jurickova.pdf
