I found these snails some time ago in the Ankasa Forest Reserve ( in south-west Ghana ) and have been deliberating since then on their identification. Shell length is approx. 22 mm and they were found in dense forest under wood debris just after a heavy rainfall. It seems they belong to the family Helicarionoidea and could be a Thapsia species, but no idea which one !

I feel so helpless every time you post a shell up for identification Brunni, as your expertise in these matters outweigh mine by far! That's a gorgeous snail I must say. Just like ebony
