Adult of Acavus superbus grevillei Kandy, Sri Lanka. This subspecies has black lip, but there is also red lipped subspecies (unfortunatelly I don´t have them). Still they are very charismatic snails. Attachments:

Very handsom snail. How large do they grow? They look as if they would grow to nearly 2 inches but that is really just my guess.
