Another vegetable in season that's very popular - marrow! I shouldn't be surprised, as it's basically an overgrown courgette, and Dave and his progeny love courgettes.
Marrows are also big enough that a single one will feed a family of humans and a family of snails!

Ooh I hadn't thought of marrows! Well today my bunch are trying hard boiled egg. To begin with they all sat there looking extremely perplexed, not moving. That was unusual as they are normally running around all over the place! The smell must have been new and strange to them, but now they are all digging in! The margies are a bit slow to start, but they always are.

My nemoralis crew likes carrots, sweet potatoes, zucchini, brussel sprouts (they put wholes in the middle core), kale and sometimes apples. The babies and younger ones seem to eat anything while the adults are a bit pickier and well pick their favorite if there are options in the tank.

I put a new cuttle piece into every snail tank yesterday. Now I'm cleaning out about 200 little white poops as every last of the shell gang has been munching on the delicious fresh cuttle. I find the smell of them odd but no snail can resist fresh cuttle. Odd.

One of mine named Stripes loves Romain Lettuce. First day I got him he blazed through two giant pieces, and he is only a Helix Aspersa, not a GALS, just the common garden snail.

This week butternut squash and courgette have gone down well! They love tomatoes, peppers, any kind of lettuce, apple, avocado and cherries

Soaked cat biscuits! Thought they'd appreciate a variety in their protein as they normally get fish flake, they've all gone mad for it!

As I'm on a health kick and have been juicing a lot all my snails have enjoyed some kale, celery and pear pulp this week. They all went mad for it, burying their faces in it then sliming about with green heads ❤️

Lettuce, cucumber, seeds, dog biscuits, apple/banana/melon puree, fish food, sweet potato, carrots, whole apples. Gave them an egg a little while ago. They eat better than I do.
