Lol not with real babies but you do with your snail babies!! Have they all hatched now Lisa? Just give them some food and cuttlefish and they should be fine. I found cucumber best for baby Fulica as it was nice and soft for them. (Plus cucumber is our main veg so was easy to get )

well im sorry i dont have any motherly instincts ;D Neither do I, but I've got 5 of the little gits. ;D Thanks Sian, I've put some cucumber in, and a small piece of cuttlefish, but they're not moving about much yet (unless they're doing laps while I'm not looking) ;D

Yeah! my tigers and margies were all buried in the moss in the tank, so i fed them and left them alone. The next morning they were all in exactly the same place, facing the way but i had realized that all the food had been knocked off the platform, so they must have moved (little buggers) lol

I saw them munching away on lettuce and cucumber last night. They're still in a small tub, and I'd like to move them to the spare tank but dont know when it's safe to move them? Also, how old do they have to be before they go on to new homes? They're so teeny now, and some are pale, some are dark, and some are green! *lol*

If you don't have to post them then I would have thought they could go when you're ready.

Well she's only over my back fence, but I'd prefer them to be bigger as I think they're going in with other snails. The other spare babies (we kept 10, 8 hatched as far as I can tell) will be going to local folks. But again, I'd want them to be "safe" to rehome if you get me.

Yep I get you totally Good mummy instincts lol. If they could be put in spare tanks instead of straight in with other snails then that would be good and would make you feel better about them? Fulica babys are pretty hardy though lol. But if the people don't already have snails I'd wait until they were bigger. If they're eating nicely then they'll be at a cm in no time anyway. So be patient Kathy lol
