Hi tsreble  The last photo you posted of your L. numidica is great. They are all standing up on your hand looking the same way : like they are singing you a song ....... ;D ;D

I love that picture! They may have better sense of smell than other snails I've had, because they do that a lot and then head for the food. They seem to be able to smell even sunflower seeds from across the tank (half a meter at least).

I would be interested in trying to house some of these so if you have problems finding homes let me know! I'm always interested in unusual species and though I love my GALS I am happy to consider smaller species for one of my vivariums.

OMG! My babies are laying eggs! Guess they're not my babies any more  The biggest are now 4-5cm. I don't know exactly how many I have, all dark striped variety. Please let me know if you want some. (Adults 10€/each + 10€ p&p from Norway).

Currently numidica is a synonym, the correct name for the species Limicolaria aurora (Jay 1848). Source: A Monographic Revision of the African Land Snails of the Genus Limicolaria Schumacher. Crowley and Pain.
