My friend picked a few l.martensianas from their garden while they lived in Kenya. Because she has a bit problem with the space in her apartment, she gave some of her snails to me. My main goal is now to get here in Finland a healty l.martensiana population. Unfortunately it is harder than you might think because there ain´t much of offers about martensianas any where, not in or outside of Finland Me and my friend are the only ones which I know having martensianas in Finland. These are my first martensianas (which we first think that they are flammeas) and here are their first hached and survived babys (and at the same time my first martensiana babys) Here are some of those snails what I´ve got: These are the "Old Ones". Friend told me that they have never had any eggs. They are allso quite big (6,4cm) These are other ones: And some little ones. Two blondies and two striped ones. (forgive me, some of my pictures are the same which I already show you in the sell/buy-section)

Thanks for posting these wonderful pictures ! Another unusual Limicolaria that is seldom seen ! Whilst quite variable, some very beautiful patterns amongst them especially on the big guy of 64mm ! Would you know which area in Kenya these specimens came from ? PS : I would suggest to the moderators that this mail be moved to the Species Pictures for Website area for future posterity !

Congratulations! I really love my numidicas and would like to get more Limicolaria species, like martensiana. Lots of babies here as well. Maybe we could exchange some? Later in the year of course (still too cold).
