There's no such species as reticulata rodatzi. rodatzi is the yellow shelled form of fulica hamillei. Maybe you mean albino bodied reticulata though?

There's plenty of information on here, and also bugnation.co.uk including a list of all known species kept at the moment. On the misinformation of species, I wouldn't trust ebay for instance on anything species-wise without double checking first.

Using the right spelling should make it easier to find the snails you want online Personally I have always found Bristol Inverts very good, although I noticed the site is undergoing some maintenance at the moment... I haven't used them myself but Bugz2Go seem to be reliable from what I've heard. You can find bargains sometimes on eBay but as Kevin said it may be best to check any species identifications with us on the forum first before purchasing/bidding, and making sure that you have seen photos of the actual snails for sale!

Bristol inverts has sadly been down for maintenance for at-least the past 6 months so i dont think anything is likely to happen anytime soon. Bugz2go (http://www.bugz2go.com/) is very good, paul (the owner) is very helpful and extremely nice. I have both purchased from and sold to paul. Martin goss is very good but sadly only has a few species available at the moment (http://www.martingoss.co.uk/insects.html#anchor_snails) Obviously there's the classifieds on here, also RFUK (http://www.reptileforums.co.uk/forums/invert-classifieds/) tends to carry the occasional snail classifieds. There are various facebook groups which also often have snails for sale (obviously i can't vouch for all the sellers on these but there are many people there who will quickly shout out a misidentified species) I would be very careful with sites like ebay and preloved unless you know exactly what the snail you are looking for looks like, i've seen a retic on there misidentified as an albino margie sut currently (i contacted them to tell them they were incorrect in their ID, but the snail was relisted still as a margie sut), there's also been a case of scammers on preloved recently and there's been warnings kicking about about a couple of ebay sellers at the moment. Just be patient as all those snails tend to turn up for sale at one point or another but it often just takes a while. Then ofcourse when i get around to listing them i'll have some albino and black eyed white Archachatina marginata suturalis for sale soon (some i kept back from previous clutches and some from a missed clutch) and some accidental Achatina fulica to (sell/give away) and there is a yellow shelled dark skinned individual (i.e. looks exactly like Achantina fulica rodatzi but has a less black either lighter or brown foot and is from jadatzi rather than rodatzi lines - but you will find this to be the case with many so called rodatzi for sale currently.) I think you will have trouble finding Pleurodonte marginella for sale in this country, they're quite rare here at the moment, most of the ones here are imported. The trouble with importing from abroad is the postage cost. however if you are happy with that i thoroughly recommend tom at landsnails.org I bought some snails from him recently and they are doing fantastically! P.S - if you see a snail and are unsure it's correctly ID'd feel free to ask on here and we can do our best to check for you

I gave up correcting sellers of misidentified snails on eBay years ago, very few actually acknowledged their error and changed the listing. Most either sent rude messages on how much of an expert on snails they are, and that I'm wrong, or just ignored my suggestion and failed to correct their auction.
