I see we are still getting new members that are actually ads. Do these posts take up space on the forum and are they deleted by the mods so they don't take up more space?

I've only caught one member that was an addbot recently, i deleted the add and the user. (i very nearly deleted the joke introduction post which started with want a new kitchen by a genuine member as well once!). I haven't seen any others recently which would suggest other mods have been deleting them too. They're not a problem as they are usually removed fairly quickly. If you spot an add that a mod hasn't removed feel free to report it, there's a report button somewhere, (perhaps under actions?) which reports it to the mods (sorry i can't look to see where it is as it's not on the moderator version). If you can't find the report button just PM one or all of the mods and the first one here will deal with it

Mods always delete spam or fake accounts as soon as we spot them. I recently spent about 3 hours going through the entire members list and removing any spam accounts. It doesn't take up any "space" on the forum, it's just a mild annoyance if they actually make a spam post, but those tend to be deleted pretty quickly.
