So you feed them baby snails at the moment? They sound very interesting! I have heard of other predators making themselves attractive to prey to draw them in although I can't remember where I read it now. Would you be able to ship some to the UK?

Yes, and small slugs. That is the only thing they will eat so far, besides a small bit of boiled egg (and they didn't seem thrilled about the egg, they only ate a small portion). I would like to find other food sources for them, mainly because it's difficult to monitor whether they are eating the proper amount - I must locate and count the feeder worms/slugs/snails to see what has been eaten. Once time passes this will become less important, but for right now, I am of course preoccupied with how they are adapting to captivity.
Yes, I can ship to UK.

Hi, I am interested in the Cepaea nemoralis snail. My son and daughter love snails and we would love to purchase two of these kind from you if you still have them. We live in the US. Unfortunately we could not trade with you because we do not own any snails or slugs at the present time. These would be our first. Would you have any available for sale either now or in the future? Thanks so much.

Have you had continued success with offering the lancetooth snails boiled eggs? We have a small Beaded Lancetooth and no slugs that seem small enough to offer. What might you be able to tell me about their feeding, frequency, hunting techniques, likes...

For those who are looking for Land Snails in the U.S., I noticed that there are a few people selling various species (mostly misidentified) on E-Bay. They are all grossly overpriced, but for those who are desperate, it does give you an option. First off, those listed as 'White Striped rare Helix' snails are neither Helix or rare. They are Bradybeana Similaris, more commonly known as the Asian Tramp Snail. An introduced species, it is a very common garden pest throughout the state of florida. It gets to about 1/2". I found the story about the seller having found these 'rare' snails 9 years ago, and has been breeding them since farcical. The seller's location is listed as Delray Beach, Florida, where they would be widespread. There is a fair amount of variability with this species. The colour can be offwhite to tan, and there can be a single medial carmine stripe, or it may also be absent. The species listed as 'Helix' snails, are in actuality, Zachysia Provisoria, the Cuban Brown Snail. Again, a common introduced garden pest, common throughout Southern Florida. It reached about an inch or so. It is always brown or tan, with subtle axial ribbing (corrugation), and an inflected lip. The final species is the only one correctly, so to speak, identified. That is the Florida Flat Coil, Polygyra Cereolus. It is a small tightly coiled compressed snail. It grows to about 3/8". It is fairly hardy. All three are easy to keep and eat a wide variety of vegetables and fruits. Again, these are common snails that most Floridians would actually pay you to take from them. I felt the prices were ridiculously high, and the shipping outrageous, but I suppose it is cheaper than airfare to Florida.

Thanks for clearing this up! I saw those snails (and the outrageous prices!) and knew they couldn't be Helix species. I'd definitely like to have some of them, but not for that kind of money!

I'm looking for a pale yellow/ spotted banana slug. Can you get one and if so how much would be the total for the zip 33837 The yellow bananas are $10 each. Green-grey with black spots are $20 each. Unfortunately, I do not have any yellow slugs with black spots. I know they exist, but I have never seen one in person. I am trying to breed them, but have been unsuccessful so far. Shipping to anywhere in the USA is $20 for up to 5 banana slugs.
