I'm just looking around for informatin and is it true that the snail can actually absorb calcium through their foot? 0.0

I think all snails can do it, but I know for sure that some species in particular secrete hydrochloric acid from their foot to absorb calcium from surfaces.

I don't know how much most snails are able to absorb through their skin realistically though - if they were able to absorb significant amounts of calcium just by sitting on it, they wouldn't need to make the effort to ingest it.

A quick spin through Google tells me that they can absorb it through both their foot and their mouth, but based on personal observations from my own snails they prefer to absorb it orally.
