The tank lid fell on to one of my babys. 3 days old. I am really upset right now, they are all precious to me. Goodbye little baby, I see you in your brothers and sisters and I will never forget you.  3 days old. Innocent. Pure. Goodbye. |

Oh Mango, I hate it when that happens. When you have many snails, you're bound to have some nasty accidents happen even when you're careful. At least the baby went quickly, so no suffering. |

I find it annoying how hatchlings like to wedge themselves up by the lid...a prime place to get crushed...oh well, into the Euglandina tank they go.

You feed baby's to the rosy wolfs? I wouldn't do that, I am to attached to them... I just found 2 adults and 3 juveniles rosys 2 of which are going to gigas and I just feed them clam.

Only if they were somehow accidentally crushed. I do try to keep all the hatchlings I have currently.
