Hey everyone! ADMIN please move this if in the wrong spot as I have no clue where this should have gone! Sorry in advance! So about two years ago I first got interested in snails but decided not to keep them at that time but I had told my family about my interest and you know what they did two years after the fact? They dumped a slug on me! So now we have Samwise the leopard slug. But the issue remains I have no idea how to care for this little guy! the internet while holding a plethora of info about snails holds basically none about slugs. I currently have him in a 15 gallon fish tank with a lid on it. And am currently feeding him a mix of banana, cucumber, carrot, and lettuce. So my questions are these, do slugs need a calcium source? What is the best fruit/veggie to feed? I have heard about fish flakes for snails are these ok for slugs as well? What about snail jello? Is there anything in snail food recipes that I would need to avoid? Any advice or tips would be welcome thanks in advance!

Just care for it like you would care for a snail 2 inches of dirt, feed fruits and veggies, mist tank twice a day but you don't have to give as much calcium if you were caring for a snail
