I have been noticing for a while that the changes in weather can have quite an effect on the humidity levels in my vivs. On dry days with lower humidity it can be difficult to keep the humidity at 80%. On rainy days with high humidity, the humidity in my tanks can be dramatically higher.
Last night the weather forcast said the humidity level was 94%. This morning the humidity in my immac was a reading 98%. Has anyone else noticed these changes? mickysnail

Well, if snails live outside naturally, then they should be able to put up with changes for a short period, sorry if this wasn't of any contribution

I live in a humid area. I find that without spraying, the humidity is over 90% yet the coir is dry. Any ideas?

Wet the coir substrate, the snails won't like it dry and try to increase the ventilation.

Thanks Val. I have to change the tank. I do spray the coir but there is also condensation from the heat mat, so I am switching it on and off.
