Hi, my daughter's gorgeous gals went on holiday to her Dad's. He thought they were burrowing, alas, some weeks later when they came home we are now inundated with babies. Guess who has to find them all homes. We are new to this and so I am desperate for advice as to how to get rid of 250 babies. I am happy to deliver within reason, do pet shops take them? Any help appreciated. Many thanks

Any help appreciated. Many thanks Some pet shops may be willing to take them, definitely worth asking. Also if you have any specialist reptile shops near you they may be good to try, either to take some off your hands or to help you find local buyers. Have a look on Google if you're not sure whether there's any reptile shops in your area, you may be surprised as they're often out of town or tucked away a little You could also try offering them on places like Gumtree, Freecycle and eBay for free or postage costs (helps if you're willing to post them but you can offer collection only) or even in your local Freeads.

Hi thanks for the advice, I have only managed to get 12 new homes that way so far which is so sad.

You could try posting on gumtree, pets4homes, Facebook etc I know a lot of friends who get snails from those sites, and I don't think there's any charge for posting? You could just ask enough to cover postage/transport? Xx
