Hello. Since some days ago some of my iredaley snails are eating away the apix of the other iredalei's shells. They have calcium in the terrarium, I dont know why are they doing it. Please, help me.

Do they eat the calcium as well?
If not, try powdering the cuttlefish (or whatever you use) and sprinkling it on their food. I found this helps them realise what it actually is. I also, sprinkle powdered calcium onto the soil.
If there is no improvement, it may be wise to separate them until they have got the hang of eating cuttlefish.

Paul's right-mabey the snail doesn't really know that cuttlefish bones are a supply of calcium(especially the wild caught ones)I would sugest trying other things eg:egg shells, milk powder etc... if it doesn't work then mabey you should try separating them or:try putting bits of cuttlefish on their food-mabey the snail won't relize it's a differant food and will eat it up.
