I was actually searching for a yellow Cepaea with no stripes/bands. Didn't find one, but I did find this one with a very pretty shell. The shell is multicolored with a pale brown transitioning into a deep reddish color. The photo's don't do it justice.

Gorgeous indeed! Whenever I see this morph out in the wild, it always amazes me. Even prettier, the red single-banded morphs! π

They're both so pretty! Have you named then yet? Nope! I want to name the reddish one after a gem. Considered Ruby, Pearl or Parel (Dutch for pearl). I found her in a mussel shell. Then considered Coal for the second, but not sure yet. I also have two other snails that still need names, these two: Suggestions? Edit: Cherry might be cute too

Hmmm... The one on the left could be Treasure, with those cool golden spots. The other... maybe Silver?

Hmmm... The one on the left could be Treasure, with those cool golden spots. The other... maybe Silver? I do like those names especially Silver because that gives a positive feel to his shell being withered. However I do feel a bit awkward around English names, because I kind of want them to sound okay in Dutch too. Hazel for example, I had to name her that because the name just popped up in my mind whenever I saw her. But it sounds totally awkward to say it when speaking Dutch I'll think about it
